Title: Great place to base myself for a few days
If I could ask for one improvement, it would be for the staff to be more available during check-in. The children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and busy with other tasks.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city. It was within walking distance of the main shopping area and the famous geisha district. The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring Kyoto.
One downside of the hotel was the noise. The walls were quite thin, so we could hear noise from other rooms and the hallway.

The staff at this hostel were exceptional! They were incredibly polite, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. The hostel itself was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The dormitory I stayed in had spacious beds and provided basic toiletries in the shower. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the key attractions in the city. everything about my stay was perfect and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
I did notice that some areas of the facilities were not cleaned as frequently as I would have liked. It would have been better if the cleanliness was maintained consistently throughout my stay.

The guestrooms at Grand-Rem Kyoto are really cozy and comfortable, making it easy for me to get a good night's sleep. The rooms have everything I needed, like a flat-screen TV, carpeting, and a clothes rack. The complimentary tea was a nice touch! Plus, the pillow menu and laptop-compatible safe added that extra touch of convenience.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the electronic bidet in the toilets. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others might actually enjoy that feature.

I always keep coming back to this place because it has everything I need: Wi-Fi, dryer, electric kettle, and air conditioning. The staff even helped me find a local taxi number on my first stay. It's the perfect spot for a romantic escape with a bar/lounge, restaurant, flat-screen TV, and lift. No regrets!

I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel in Kyoto for 3 months and it was easily the best I have experienced. The value for money was excellent, with super friendly and attentive staff. The facilities were top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and a superb lounge area. The common room had a great social atmosphere and even featured a craft beer bar. The location was ideal, just a corner away from Nishi market and within walking distance of popular attractions like Nijo Castle and Gion.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
